Gettysburg: Finding Common Ground, October 25-29, 2021

Limited to 25 people, this custom curated, special interest tour is named and designed in reflection of the 2020 national election which polarized people, sometimes within a family.  This fact happened as well during the Civil War, when the North and South fought against each other, most famously at the Battle of Gettysburg.  Our fall tour to beautiful Gettysburg is led by Historian and Lincoln Leadership Institute Instructor and Author Dr. Judy Morley, and coordinated by armchair history buff Kent Rautenstraus.    Walk the battlefields, dine in the 1776 Dobbin House, stand in the location where Lincoln delivered his Gettysburg Address, tour Ike and Mamie Eisenhower’s comfortable farmhouse and sprawling acreage, and most of all, sense the possibilities for finding common ground in today’s world, gleaned from studying an evocative period of American History.   Reach out if this one interests!
